Hailing from one of the planet’s most inspiring landscapes, Tasmanian children’s author, Stuart French, was immersed in Mother Nature’s finest since the very beginning. Fascinated by language from a young age, Stu studied Creative Writing at the University of Tasmania, where his richly-descriptive prose began to flourish.
Well, we’re a children’s book publisher and retailer, and we’re headquartered in Australia. We’re exclusively focussed on the production of beautiful and meaningful children’s picture books and framed prints, primarily for ages 0 – 6 years old. We sell worldwide directly from this website and our wonderful network of distributors and retailers.
The publishing industry hasn’t changed much in the last century and so nor have the themes explored within many of the titles on children’s bookshelves. All the while, though, the world has changed markedly. Societal awareness of the issues that impact the earth has grown immensely and our children are growing up to face challenges that we didn’t even know existed all those years ago. It is the exploration of these challenges that make our books unique; the way we have gently woven issues of such importance into stories that carry timeless appeal for children really is our secret sauce!
